Forged in the Phlegethon
― Members of Inferi are also in Equipoise, who have released one of the top albums this year. Intense vocals, technical speed, incredible guitar solos, all in a perfect package of fist punching groove. This was released originally (!0) years ago, but it was RE-RECORDED with all the musical knowledge gained, so this is NEW.
No Stories Left
― Germany + melodic + extreme = the new formula. Here it is 1/5th melodic + 1/5th prog + 1/5th speed + 1/5th anthemic + 1/5th German accent. 4th release.
Letting Dust Fall Gracefully
― Post-apocalyptic doom and gloom and despair. So, my soundtrack.
Cathedral Ov Tombs
― Been around since the 80's, and know how to punch all of that hate and aggression and death and black down to that chilling groove.
He's a Woman - She's a Man (Scorps cover)
― Another German old school band in the vein of Kreator who have released a stellar bit of fun, quick thrash songs. AND THIS IS A COVER OF THE SCORPIONS!!
De Doden Van't Waterkant
― Yeah, it's Germany again. I am totally racist. Germanic black and blackgaze.
― Oh this is such a fun aggro death and black with so many incredible riffs from a supergroup of members of Morbid Angel, Mayhem and Cryptopsty.
EAST OF THE WALL (NJ)
― East of the Wall will make you go, "what's going on." They are multi-instrumental-leaning, with a bit of jazz and a lot of prog all mixed with a smidge of sludge, and a vocalist that is earnest and lovely.
NOCTURNAL HOLLOW (Venezuela)
― Death duo dealing out a sickening and tempo-lurching sound underscored with doom.
― Conan guitarist creates focus on the growling and hypnotic guitar with the rumble of drums throughout.
